commandmodsmith install

Install a modpack as a new instance in the official launcher.

$ modsmith install [OPTIONS] SOURCE

Arguments

SOURCE

A pack file, a project such as fabulously-optimized or curseforge:, or its web address.

Options

--name str

The instance’s name. Defaults to the pack’s.

--optional str

Install the optional files whose names contain this. Repeat for more.

--all-optional

Install every optional file.

--from path

A folder with files you downloaded by hand. Repeat for more.

--yes, -y

Do it without asking.

--dry-run

Show what would change, and change nothing.

Examples

$ modsmith install fabulously-optimized
$ modsmith install curseforge:all-the-mods-9 --name atm9
$ modsmith install Downloads/pack.mrpack --all-optional
$ modsmith install curseforge:some-pack --from Downloads/manual
