commandmodsmith create#

Create an empty instance, with or without a mod loader.

$ modsmith create [OPTIONS] NAME

Arguments#

NAME: The new instance’s name.

Options#

--minecraft, -m str: The Minecraft version.
--loader, -l str: fabric, quilt, forge or neoforge.
--loader-version str: Defaults to the recommended version.
--yes, -y: Do it without asking.
--dry-run: Show what would change, and change nothing.

Examples#

$ modsmith create vanilla --minecraft 1.21.1
$ modsmith create modded --minecraft 1.21.1 --loader fabric
$ modsmith create old --minecraft 1.20.1 --loader forge --loader-version 47.3.0
